Burgie's Bands consist of stylistic, special arrangements, including top hits of the last 70 years, standards from 40's,50's, 60's, swing, upswing, Latin, ballroom favorites, jazz, blues and variety tunes. They have played for shows with guest stars, Chuck Kish in "Bobby Darin Show', Harry James' vocalist Cheryl Morris, stars from Las Vegas and around the USA, conventions, weddings, birthdays, pool parties, fairs, festivals (wine & jazz, etc.), cruise ships, theme parties, reunions and dance clubs. Their most recent gigs include "Dancing with the Stars Arizona" at AZ Biltmore 2009, the Phoenician 2008, Westin Kierland 2007.
Other gigs include Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino in Maricopa, AZ, 7 months at Chinook Winds Casino, Hilton Hotel, Red Lion and Viking Serenade Cruise Ship, Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center, 16 weeks at Hornblowers Jazz Club, Mesa, AZ.,and many more.
Burgie was a woodwind instructor at US Naval School of Music, Washington, DC,and traveled as a professional musician during 40's & 50's, with bands such as; Henry Busse, Benny Strong, Teddy Phillips, Dick Jergens, Frankie Masters, Jimmy Joy and other name and semi-name big bands. He taught 34 years in the Pacific Northwest, high school, college, private lessons & jazz workshops. Premier Dance Magazine, August, 1999, calls Burgie's Let's Dance Band, 'Not just a big band, but a terrific dance band - probably the best dance band in the country.'

- I thought the band was great! The music they played was very good. I liked the fact that you could talk to your friends and hear what they were saying without having to scream over the music. I felt these three band members were very talented and I would defineately hire them again.
