A former actress and model, as well as a musician and composer, Stephanie Quinn has a list of professional credits that spans many pages. Presently, she is an active free-lance violinist, performing with many of Chicago's musical groups, both classical, as well as contemporary dance bands.

Ms. Quinn frequently serves on juries of music competitions. Her music career highlights include a Carnegie Hall appearance with the St. Cecilia Choir, recording a solo violin/vocal album inside the Great Pyramid in Egypt, meeting the Dalai Lama on his 59th birthday, and performing for fund raisers for the Tibetan cause. She also conducted her ballet composition, Saqqara's Story, inspired by her night in the Pyramid, and has served as Concertmaster of the Spoleto Opera Festival Orchestra in Italy.

Our clients hire us again and again, because we add true class and elegance, as well as exceed their expectations each and every time.

Feedback

  • Quintessential Strings was excellent! Extremely talented and versitile, Stephanie and her group played Classical to Jazz to Irish folk to Rock and Roll on strings! It was exactly what we wanted: classical leading up to the ceremony, Canon in D for the bride (played perfectly), classical to begin the reception while people were eating and getting their first drink, then funner, up beat jazz tunes, Irish folk and Rock and Roll as the food ended and the dancing began. It was perfect! All this from one group! I highly recommend Stephanie for your wedding or any event. -- Sam M, Racine, WI, 9/19/2009
  • Stephanie was wonderful! The talent and energy she brought to our intimate ceremony was really the icing on the wedding cake. She was very helpful in picking our the perfect musical selections and giving her suggestions as to placement of them in the ceremony. Stephanie was very positive and energetic when communicating with me. She was early the day of our ceremony, which began at 6:30 am and was nothing short of professional in every way at the event. Played on que and was very accomodating. She even braved the 50 degree weather! Music was not something I had to worry one second over. She made it flawless. -- Wendy H, Chicago, IL, 10/20/2007
  • Excellent. Stephanie was very accommodating, working with our last-minute requests very well. They played beautifully throughout the ceremony and reception, we were very pleased. -- Andres C, Chicago, IL, 8/2/2008
  • The music was wonderful. They played in three different locations: funeral parlor, church, banquet hall. They adapted well to each location. I am very glad I found them. -- Rae V, New Carlisle, IN, 9/12/2009
  • Loved Jimmy Damon's show. Very nice to work with and he did a great job with the crowd! -- Cathie V, Pingree Grove, IL, 6/15/2008
