Alexandra has over 14 years of experience performing for weddings and events. She recently returned to the Twin Cities after more than 12 years spent studying and performing across North America and Europe. During that time, she performed in numerous orchestras including the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, New World Symphony, Alabama Symphony and Charleston Symphony. Alex has worked with many notable musicians including Michael Tilson Thomas, Osmo Vänskä, James Levine, Kurt Masur, Gil Shaham and Itzhak Perlman. She has also received fellowships from the Tanglewood Music Center, the Aspen Music Festival and the New World Symphony. In addition to her experience as a performer, Alex has appeared in interviews and/or performances on the BBC, NPR, and PBS, among others.

Alex holds a masters degree and a professional studies certificate from the Cleveland Institute of Music. Her bachelor of music degree is from the Manhattan School of Music.

Alex is able to organize any type of ensemble ranging from solo violin to string quartet. She works with only the mostly highly trained and experienced musicians in the Twin Cities. When you leave your wedding music in Alex's hands, you can trust that everything will go beautifully.
