Manhattan Steel Band was perfect for our after wedding party! The music was just the right touch -- everyone enjoyed it, and our grandson (2 years old) danced most of the evening!! I would definitely use them again -- their sound is great, and they were wonderful. Thanks so much!!!

I wanted to throw an 80th birthday party for my mother that would never be forgotten. When thinking of entertainment, my main concern was that I wanted to get people off of their chairs and onto the dance floor to have a fabulous time. Manhattan Steel Band helped make this a reality.
My jitters disappeared the minute the band began to play. The room was electric. People, who I would have never thought would dance, were up on the dance floor. One and all jumped out of their seats from the minute they began to play and throughout the evening. When I throw another Caribbean party, there will not be the slightest hesitation; I will call Manhattan Steel Band.

The Manhattan Steel Band was absolutely fabulous! They arrived on time, played a variety of awesome music and totally were the talk of the wedding! The guests were all so impressed and most importantly the bride (me) was ecstatic! I even got to play a song on the drums! The trio arrived on time, looking festive, ready to play and played every minute. My guests loved and raved about the music and vocals. The congo line brought the house down. I am sure you will be hearing from my guest and the Yacht Club who were equally impressed with the talent and professionalism of the group.

The whole thing, from working with Larry to organize the band right through to the delivery on the night was perfect. The two person band turned up on time and played a great set which our guests thoroughly enjoyed. They were very professional and I recommend them without hesitation.

Had communication issues. They didn’t play gathering music, said would. Played the bridal party song, stopped before they had finished walking, played same song. Awkward silence during my walk. Recessional they played wrong song. Move from ceremony to cocktail location a few feet away. He said it would not be a problem, 1 would setup for cocktail, the other 2 would do ceremony. Instead all 3 played ceremony and took over 20 min to re-setup for cocktail. I am upset, paid a lot for these 2 hours. Owner great! Provided a mic for ceremony! The talent was great! When they did play they played very well! Sorry characters limit me so I can’t be as detailed as I would like.

I booked Dexter, a steel drum player, for a 3 hour gig to play a small backyard BBQ. He arrived early, got set up quickly, and got right to work. A true professional in both talent and demeanor.
I can't wait to book him for future gatherings!
