Introducing Bongo D - Duane (Bongo D) Scott was called to the joy of making music by the voice of the conga drum. His exploration of Jazz music exposed him to the varied percussion instruments of Africa and the Caribbean so it was only natural that he would fall in love with Latin and Brazilian music / rhythms. But in 1970 when he discovered Reggae, D found his calling. Equipped with a solid musical foundation in rhythm, D branched out to melody and harmony with the addition of keyboards vocals and steel drum to his musical arsenal. Mystical, yet approachable,D is a lover of people and a natural entertainer. His percussive bag of tricks are often the highlight of a Bongo D performance.

This musical presentation is well suited for resorts,restaurants,clubs and private parties (Wedding Ceremony, Reception / Cocktail Hour) that would like to add Caribbean Island Music to their special occasion.

• Duane of Steel Drum Wedding is an amazing performer and an amazing guy. As soon as I met him I knew I had made the right choice - friendly, great presence, considerate, and talented. He joined us for a backyard cocktail party and quickly became the life of it, loosening up a crowd of mostly young professionals. It was great having him as the background track to all the conversations in our tightly packed yard, but then he drove the energy way up when the time was right. He's interactive too, and gave me a quick lesson on his pan, and he played and shared other instruments through the night with the guests...
