Mike Nevin

Mike Nevin has been playing steel drums for 20 years. Before recently moving to the Philadelphia area, Mike played pan 14 of those years with the Pan Jumbies Steel Band from Denver, Colorado. In addition to playing at parties, weddings and other related events, Mike has performed with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra and the Denver Brass as well as appearing in several concerts with the Jumbies. He has also performed on two albums by the Pan Jumbies; Say it with Pan and Jam it with You. Since moving to the Philadelphia area, Mike continues to perform at various events and has played several times at the Painted Bride Arts Center. In addition to playing steel drums, Mike is an active composer, teacher and multi-percussionist.
