Ultra Man Motivational Speaker from Sarnia, ON

Hi, my name is Tim Westaway and I have been an endurance athlete for the last 30 years. In 2010 I completed the Canadian Death Race in Grand Cache Alberta. The Death Race is run in the Canadian Rockies and has 17,000 feet of elevation gain. I completed the race in 19 hours and 48 minutes and finished 33rd out of 360 runners, at age 55! In 2011 I completed the Chimera, a 100 mile run in Lake Elsinore California. It has over 22,000 feet of elevation gain and I completed the course in 29 1/2 hours finishing 48th overall. In August 2013 I completed the Ultra Du Mont Blanc in Chamonix France a 104 mile run through the French, Italian and Swiss Alps. It took me 44 hours to complete the course! I finished 1320 out of 2600 competitors. We climbed over 32,000 feet in this race..... I have completed 2 iron man distance races as well as over 30 other triathalons. But my main attention now is ultra trail runs and I love the mountains! My story is inspirational and would appeal to anyone, athlete or non athlete, young or old. My message is simple, ordinary people do extraordinary things all the time, and so can you.
