Lyvyn Skynyrd is an authentic Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band from Southern California. The band is comprised of musicians who grew up to the southern rock sound. When you hear Lyvyn Skynyrd live you'll think you are back in the 70's at a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert. The music sounds incredibly close to the orginal recordings.

Lyvyn Skynyrd takes you through a time capsule as you listen to songs from their first LP "Pronounced: Lynyrd Skynyrd" through "Second Helping" their second LP and on to "Nuthin' Fancy" the third LP. Next the journey continues with songs from "Gimme back my bullets" and "One more from the road" the live LP. Lastly, the journey ends with their last studio LP "Street survivors". They have a surprise or two up their sleeve as they also perform a few songs from a lesser known Lynyrd Skynyrd member project.

As the nucleus and leader of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ronnie Van Zant was an amazing song writer and singer. He was extremely charismatic. He never made it a habit to write down the words to any of his songs. Once he came up with the words he never forgot them. Tony Sedia plays Ronnie Van Zant extremely well. Both in regards to the vocals and the way Ronnie moved around on the stage.

Rick Dekker plays a three-man role. Two of the guitar players, Ed King and Steve Gaines, played a Stratocaster for that unique strat sound. Allen Collins played a Gibson Firebird and with it came the unmatched sound that the Firebird brings. Rick does a great job of getting that special Lynyrd Skynyrd sound on each of the songs.

Michael Masilotti portrays the part of Gary Rossington. The unique sound of a Gibson Les Paul is just that - a unique sound. Rich Sanders plays the part of Billy Powell. An unbelieveable keyboard player that also contributes wih organ, synthesiser and other instrument fill in parts.

Greg Lemke plays the part of Leon Wilkeson. There is nothing equal to the sound of a Thunderbird and the importance of bass in the Lynyrd Skynyrd sound.

Dan Powers holds down the beat on drums and plays the part of Artimus Pyle. He does a great job of emulating the hard crashing sound that only Artimus could create.

And of course the sound of Lynyrd Skynyrd would be incomplete without the female backing vocals. Lyvyn Skynyrd is extremely blessed to have Liz Parks and Vicki Cunningham as their backing vocal singers. They play the parts of Jo Jo Billingsley and Cassie Gaines and really complete the Lynyrd Skynyrd sound.

Lyvyn Skynyrd is available for Corporate events, Fairs, Chili Cookoffs, Casinos, Las Vegas, private parties and anywhere that your audience wants to hear songs like "Sweet home alabama", "Gimme three steps", "Call me the breeze", "Freebird" or any of their other great songs.
