Although Jim specializes in singing Big Band Standards and Oldies, he offers a variety of music with elegance and class at a reasonable price for any event you may be planning. Jim sings and plays music that can be tailored to fit any engagement, utilizing a professional sound system with custom produced accompaniment compact discs and MP3 capability. He will also play your favorite CD or recorded music at your request. In addition to singing, Jim also plays a large selection of Ultimate Party and Dance Music. We are more versatile than a band, because of our ability to do different styles of music, all recorded on MP3 Flashdrive. This is what makes a one man band so unique. You get the best of both worlds, a smooth singer and also DJ music tailored for both the younger and older audience alike to enjoy, which is essential for a balanced event. We also offer Karaoke which can be lots of fun.

The music that I sing sounds like a full band, complete with a brass section and back-up singers which creates a full sound. It's not uncommon to hear "that's a lot of music for one person to put out"! I have experience entertaining for multiple kinds of receptions, cocktail and dinner parties, also corporate events and supper clubs. Local venues have included Grove Park Inn, Great Smokies Hilton, and Sheratons in Asheville, NC, Maggie Valley Country Club, Etowah Country Club, and Holiday Inns in the mountains of beautiful western North Carolina, also Marriots and Embassy Suites in the Greenville, SC area. Jim requires only a small space to set up, but still can give a professional sound you would expect from a large band or orchestra.
