DESCRIPTION:
Maristella has been a sought-after singer and pianist in the Tri-State area for many years. Classically-trained at both Manhattan School of Music and Westminster Choir College, she then studied pop singing with Mariah Carey's mother. Maristella's eclectic career includes performing as a solo singer and pianist, appearing in Off-Broadway's 'Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding' and being a respected songwriter. Bilingual, she has also found a niche in the Italian-American market and has opened up for comedian and actor Pat Cooper among many other note-worthy performances. She also performed at the San Remo Festival in Italy. Maristella prides herself on her vast Italian repertoire that ranges from the traditional to the pop to the songs of Bocelli. She is also regularly featured in the media for her songwriting. Presently, you can hear Maristella on the Tony Mangia Radio Show on WPSC 88.7. This April, Maristella will be performing on Jammin' TV, will be featured in America Oggi and is very excited about her first performance at NJPAC. As a professional musician, Maristella loves what she does and considers herself fortunate to be able to make a special day more memorable.
