DESCRIPTION:
Versatility best describes Jesse Garland. She can sing just about any genre but her heart lies in jazz and blues. She started her singing career while living in Washington DC within the vibrant jazz scene of the U Street Corridor, once home of Duke Ellington. Over the next several years, she landed many steady gigs at local restaurants including an appearance at the Bohemian Caverns where Ella Fitzgerald got her start. After moving to Colorado, she found that the jazz scene was not as thriving as it was in Washington DC, so she decided to expend her horizons and went from sultry blues and jazz to singing lead vocals on everything from Old Time Rock and Roll to Disco to even Steve Perry from Journey. Jesse Garland definitely makes every show an experience from her fabulous costumes to going out into the audience and making them part of the show. Jesse is available to perform as a solo artist or can even expand things up to a 5 piece group with some of the best talent in town. Casey McGill, The Delegates of New York, Darryl Davis, Bob Tublin, Blue Cat 7, Three Martini Lunch, Blues Torch, From the Top, Johnny Rock'It, and Play It Forward are just a few of the artists she has performed with over the years. Jesse Garland was spectacular!!! She is one of the most versatile singers I have ever seen. She performed Jazz, classy ballads, rock, country, disco, and all time party favorites. She enthralled the crowd with her personality and I have received so many rave reviews on her performance. I will be hiring Jesse Garland for all my upcoming events. She is that great!!!
