DESCRIPTION:
Jennifer Parde is a versatile vocalist who, at the age of 28, has been singing jazz for over 11 years. She is experienced in singing with big bands, jazz combos, and in duo or solo settings. (She also accompanies herself on piano/keyboards.) She has sung and played in many clubs, coffeehouses, restaurants, weddings and cocktail events across the Baltimore/D.C. region. Jennifer performs a range of material, including standards, current and older pop favorites and orginal songs in the jazz/pop vein. She sings in a way that is original and filled with heart, trying always to interpret a song deeply and creatively. Her favorite singer is Eva Cassidy, who had amazing range, versatility and sensitivity of interpretation.

Jennifer performed for my mother's 66th birthday/dinner party. The setting was very intimate. My family and I would describe our experience with Jennifer as absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend Jenniffer. After listening to her demo and working with her to plan the entertainment, I expected her to be professional and talented. She was. Her charming personality was a real bonus. I could not have asked for a better talent or a nicer person to spend the evening entertaining us. I especially appreciated that she sang a duet with my 13 year old daughter as a dedication to her grandmother. She also worked out a song with my 9 year old so he was not left out.
