DESCRIPTION:
Amy Hancock is a professional vocalist who sings with a beautiful and powerful voice, equally passionate and subtle in her delivery of Jazz and Blues vocals. Singing a wide range of jazz classics and B side jazz favorites, as well as contemporary songs cooked up with jazz flavors, Amy serves hot Jazz music with the fire and precision it was meant for. Many 20s through 50s classics of Jazz, and favorite songs from a wide range of different genre. And she loves the Blues! Performances are all completely live Vocals with Piano or another instrument as accompaniment.
In fact, Amy's music samples available here on her gigmasters site are the undoctored reference recordings from a live event in a club she played in with her pianist. Additionally, classic trio arrangements with Bass and Percussions are a big part of her work, and other arrangements are also available. The players Amy works with are exceptionally talented, and every show exhibits incredible musicianship.
