Mark B Heller Singer Guitarist from Mulberry, FL

I started playing guitar when I was in 7th grade and saw the Beatles perform live on the Ed Sullivan Show on television, I believe around 1965. When I saw them, I knew I wanted to learn to play the guitar. Over time, as I grew, I was in numerous bands, the last of which was the Heller High Water band. I began performing solo around 2003 and haven't stopped yet. My wife of 50 years and I moved to Florida in April of 2022, and I have added Florida to the growing list of things I love. I also love what I do. I really enjoy it and I would love to help make your event a success. In Illinois I was gigging as much as 8 times a month and now in Florida I'm starting all over because while I was well known back in Illinois I'm trying once again to break into the market. I'm a regular performer at the Lakeland Downtown Curbside Market and have also performed numerous times at the Winter Haven Market and I also played at the Auburndale Saturday Market. I was asked to perform at the VFW Post 72 in Mulberry on Veterans Day and I'll be performing at Springapalooza in Avon City. I perform Classic Rock, Soft Rock, Country and some POP, Lounge and a touch of Blues. There's enough variation in my music genres to please just about anybody. While I play and sing, I engage a rhythm machine to keep the beat with realistic drum kit sounds. It adds so much to the live solo experience that it rivals the sound of a duo. I'll typically travel from my home in central Florida westward to the Tampa, Clearwater, Madeira Beach area, south Highway 64, eastward to Davenport, Lake Wales and Avon Park and north as far as Wesley Chapel, Zephyrhills and Polk City.
