DESCRIPTION:
Riley Wilson, a.k.a."The Gigmeister" is a seasoned guitarist/vocalist with over 36 years experience playing live shows coast to coast. His mastery of rock, country, folk, jazz and classical guitar are combined with a flair for showmanship few entertainers can match. He's a veteran guitar teacher, performer, voice talent and writer whose work has appeared in "Gig," Guitar World," "Electronic Musician" and "Vintage Guitar" magazines. He appears live in three formats- solo guitar and vocal gigs with or without tracks, duo gigs with "Think Twice" and trio performances with "Sojourn." The solo act combines his vocal and guitar prowess with backing instruments to sound as full as a live band with a smaller stage set. Paired with keyboard/vocalist Bryan Stroud in the duo "Think Twice," they pair impeccable vocals with live guitar, bass, keys and digital percussion. This duo is a great choice when vocal variety is preferred with a smaller footprint than a traditional trio. Bryan and Riley team up with drummer/vocalist Nathan Ellison for the trio "Sojourn, " a great triple threat of vocals and live instruments for a sound much bigger than three pieces.
Clients are uniformly stunned hearing Sojourn and many have confused the group with a CD playing over a P A system! Riley has performed with his solo act,duo and trio for a tremendous variety of private, public and corporate shows in a career spanning almost four decades.
