Description
The Weatherheads are a rock'n'roll dance band, leaning heavily toward sixties through eighties songs. Their goal is to make certain your special event is a success and make sure all your guests have a fantastic time. Bands whose music they cover include The Beatles, Stones, CCR, Van Morrison, The Police, AC-DC, Stevie Wonder, Blondie...well, you get the idea. The musicians are all seasoned pros who have done shows with Spinal Tap, Crowded House, Quiet Riot, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and many others, and played in bands with members of the Jim Carroll Band, Chambers Brothers and The Flamin' Groovies, to name a few. They've entertained audiences all over the world, and now they're ready to make your party happen. They own full pro sound and light systems and will emcee your event if you wish. If you have a special song or songs they will learn them. Most of all, they will make sure the dance floor stays full all night. LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL! ---
UPDATE: The Weatherheads have a new member! Erica Kelsey, on vocals and keyboards has an amazingly diverse musical pedigree. She studied voice at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ, where she performed onstage with classical music legends like Leonard Bernstein, Marilyn Horne and Yo-Yo Ma. After coming to Seattle she studied with vocal coach Beth Winter at Cornish, and began singing in local jazz clubs. This led to a four-year stint fronting the Nightsticks blues band. But forget all that. Her new slogan is, quote, "I love to rock!"
Can she sing Aretha? Yes. Janis? Hell, yes. Plus, she looks better in a snakeskin miniskirt than any of the other Weatherheads.

Feedback
- They were an excellent band to have play at our wedding. I would definately recommend them. They even learned two new songs for us. It was a great experience and really made our wedding as fun as we had hoped. Their collection of songs kept the party dancing all evening. Loved them. -- Chris L, Seattle, WA, 7/22/2006
