DESCRIPTION:
The Sundogs are a four-piece band specializing in lively covers of popular rock tunes from the 1960s onward -- Beatles, Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Eagles, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, U2 and even some Nirvana and Green Day! Styles range from pop-rock ballads to harder-edged rock numbers with cross-generational appeal. Although the Sundogs also play clubs and taverns, we're finding that our most successful niche is with private parties, fund-raisers, and festivals. In fact, some of our most memorable and well-received gigs to date have been wedding reception dance parties! We have our own PA sound system suitable for small-to-medium-size venues, and we will be happy to make microphones and CD inputs available for announcements and background music before or after our performance. For weddings and larger events, we hire the services of a pro sound company. As of 2008, our standard fee for in-town wedding receptions and similar functions is $1800; travel surcharges (typically about $400) may apply for out-of-town gigs requiring an overnight stay. For other types of events, our fee may vary to account for both the client budget and the time/effort required. Significant discounts may apply if the client provides a suitable sound system and someone to run it.

We were thrilled with the Sundogs and their performance. The music was incredible - the dance floor was packed all night long. I even think that a couple of the guests are hoping to book the Sundogs for future events! If you are looking for a band that really rocks, these guys are fabulous. I highly recommend them!

The Sundogs were absolutely amazing. Our guest enjoyed having a live band - the bands energy (along with liquor) fueled the party. I would recommend them to everyone! They were well worth the money. We are looking for another occasion to hire them.
