The RED HOT POKERS "rock" to the sounds of "roots" Rock & Roll, which took the world by storm in the 1950's & 1960's, 70's Classic "party rock", and even some authentic country & rockabilly!

The RED HOT POKERS are a trio consisting of:

*DAVID "ROY" - LEAD VOCALIST/DRUMMER with a beefy, full powered voice and rock steady drumming

*MILT REDER - GUITARIST and vocalist with his blistering solos and rhythmic drive

*DEAN CASSELL - BASS GUITARIST whose playing is deeply rooted in the R&B tradition of Motown's greatest rhythm players

The band can transform from a trio to either a quartet, quintet or sextet simply by adding:

*DAVE SHOLL: one of Boston best saxophone players

*ALAN SHEINFELD-a New Orleans/boogie woogie/loungy PIANO PLAYER

*BARRENCE WHITFIELD-Boston's most soulful FRONT MAN - from manic R&B to old fashioned jump blues.

The RED HOT POKERS have a repertoire of "rockin & groovin" songs by 50's legends such as Elvis, Chuck Berry, and Del Shannon, 60's British Invasion hits by artists like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Kinks , 60's Motown and instrumental "surf" classics, and country hits by Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins.
