Brian Alex is a true entertainer at heart. His live performances have included a performance on the Today Show, a live show for President Bill Clinton and many many more. He is sensitive to the needs and desires of those who hire him. Both personable and uniquely entertaining, Brian has received an award at the Boston Music Awards for best live show in 1995 and fronted Martha's Vineyard based "Entrain" for seven years. He has also been named to the Brides Magazine "Hot 100 List" of most influential people in weddings. With ease he can shift from crooning a Sinatra standard to then slipping right into something as funky and festive as you've ever heard. He is at the top of his field with his extraordinary business "Custom Love Songs". Creating one-of-a-kind custom written songs for weddings, engagements, anniversaries and corporate jingles. Yahoo News featured Custom Love Songs' Brian Alex in a February 2008 story. He is also the voice of the most recent Sylvania light bulb campaign called "Dancing In The Light". The basic band starts as a five piece (Lead Vocal/Guitar, piano, drums, bass guitar and saxophone) though more pieces (horn section or string section) can be added if desired.
