We play a mix of Classic Rock, Motown, pop, modern country and some current music in which all songs have what we've dubbed "a High Fun Factor". So, you can dance if you want to! You'll know the music we play, and the synergy between the band and our audience is something we enjoy! We know you will too! We aim to please! The musical experience we bring will make your event a success. We are veterans of many diverse shows from standard club dates, to private parties, to corporate events, festivals to weddings; we've done 'em all and provided great entertainment and a memorable positive experience for all! You can provide that experience for your guests too! Just select The Neighbor's Kid's. They'll come over and assure you and your guests of a good time! We began as a corporate band for the Information Technologies Department for mega-business Limitedbrands Inc. (parent company for Victoria's Secret & Bath and Body Works) in 2002. We were having so much fun doing a few corporate gigs; we took the idea further, and began performing outside of work! After an almost 9 year run performing in the Columbus Metro area, the band had to take an unforeseen break as our founding member had to forego music in order to have major surgery. This was about a 7 - 8 month layoff as he recovered. We have since re-formed with a new drummer in tow as well! The band has just begun to get out into the public once again as of November of 2011. We have lots of musical experience within the band, with most of our members holding degrees in music. Our music is perfect for a festival, corporate event, Christmas party, private party, wedding or a club date. In our 9+ years, we've performed at many places in the Columbus and surrounding area, including The Party on the Patio, Quaker Steak & Lube at Polaris, Rude Dog, Victory's, Park Street Patio, Gatsby's, The Kickstand Pub, The Bogey Inn, Fitzgerald's, The Crown Sports Lounge (Gahanna), The Grandview Cafe, Nike Sports Lounge, Whiskey Dick's, Benny's Pizza in Marysville, the former Brickyard and Gordy's (formerly Lou Al's).
