Description

Are you looking for a fun wedding reception, party or corporate event? Then look no further. We play the best in 70's, 80's, 90's, Current Dance, Rock And Party Music! Critically acclaimed cover band Stoneage Romeos sizzles the stage with one of the most diverse set lists in the eastern U.S. Based out of the melting pot of Raleigh, N.C. these seasoned musicians are exposed to music spanning four decades. Quite often a Mother and her daughter approach the band and are amazed that both generations can enjoy the show. Although a lot of our set list is main stream, there is a little seasoning for folks who want to hear something a different once and a while. Known as a premier good times band in Raleigh, N.C. Stoneage Romeos specialize in getting the crowd dancing and interactive with the show. In addition to over 80 years combined musical experience SAR brings a very seasoned sound engineer to the venue who has worked with names such as Lou Graham from Foreigner and Clay Aiken in recording production.

Wedding Specifics We are very involved with wedding planners (whether the bride, groom or other planner) right from the start to review our full song selection setlist and then work together to determine which songs best fit the desired mood or 'vibe' of the reception. We were built to bring up the energy and get the party rolling, but can also 'lay low' if that's what's needed.

This is your day, and we never forget that!

In addition to performing we also provide:

Emcee services for the Wedding Party introductions, Father/Bride dance, Mother/Groom dance, etc. For outdoor weddings we have provided extra mics and pa for a fee. Talk to us and we can work with you. Pre-Reception music - We can provide anything from classical to jazz to modern to ... you name it! Between us all, we have a very extensive music collection. We also own a state of the art Professional Audio (PA) system which not only enhances our performance, but also allows guests to enjoy high fidelity music. Between-Set music - again, you want the chicken dance? We can play it. We work with you to get it right. Professional, courteous service. We are extremely reliable, and very willing to help however we can on the big day.

Check us out on FaceBook, MySpace and our website for videos and more information.

Feedback

  • This band was fantastic!! We had several friends tell us the Stoneage Romeos were the best band they had ever seen at a wedding. They had people up and dancing from the second song on (the first song was the bride and groom's special dance). We would highly recommend this band for any type of event! -- Mike C, Durham, NC, 1/3/2009
  • If you are searching for an awesome, crowd-pleasing, show stopping band, look no further. Stone Age Romeos are incredible! We hired them after first seeing them play at Napper Tandy's in Raleigh where they had us dancing all night. And everyone danced all night at our wedding! They had all of our guests, of all ages, up on the dance floor. Stone Age Romeos had an expansive list of songs that everyone enjoyed. People were asking us where we found them, asked for their business cards, and are still talking about our awesome band to this day! Brett was so wonderful to work with, and they even learned our first-dance song - just for us! This is THE band to hire! -- Jennifer B, Wilmington, NC, 11/15/2008
  • Words don't describe what an AMAZING job the band did for our wedding. This is a collaboration of truly talented musicians with the ability to cover any genre of music, and a knack for reading a crowd. These guys truly enjoy what they do and that feeling transfers directly to their audience. No one has commented on our wedding without mentioning how great the band sounded. I would not only recommend, but insist that if you are looking for an incredible band for your wedding that you MUST book these guys! They turned an already special day into an amazing event that everyone will remember for years. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Bob and Angie -- Bob K, Cape Carteret, NC, 10/4/2008
  • AMAZING!! That is all I can say! Our reception couldn't have been better! They were outstanding! Very entertaining!! The crowd loved them and everyone kept telling me how awesome the band was. I wouldn't have changed anything about that night, thanks to these guys! The set list was awesome, and the incorporated the crowd with every song. They let everyone know when a song meant a little something extra to us and why! I will absolutely call them again for a birthday party or any occasion! -- Sloane M, Wilmington, NC, 9/20/2008
  • AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME! We booked the Stoneage Romeos for our wedding and we have gotten SO many compliments about our band choice! I had never heard them in person since I was planning my wedding from across the country, but Jeff was so helpful over the phone/email that we nailed everything down and I met them at the event. They were very accommodating with which music we didn't want to hear from their playlist and they even learned a few songs that we wanted to hear: "Sweet Child of Mine" and some Jack Johnson songs...great surprise! Unless they've changed the soundclips on their website, don't bother listening...they sound a million times better live! -- Lori Jean V, Pinehurst, NC, 3/29/2008
  • This was our second time booking the Stone Age Romeos. The guests love them. A great group of guys who know how to play some great dance music. -- Monika V, Wake Forest, NC, 9/12/2008
  • This is a fantastic band. They played at our corporate event and they were a huge hit. We now want them for our Holiday Party and several people want to hire them for private events they are doing. They are fun and easy to work with. I can't say enough great things about them. We will definitely use them again. -- Lisa F, Cary, NC, 7/8/2008
  • I have gone to many parties with different bands and I was never impressed. These guys are amazing! As an HR Director I am taking the inititative to send their information to all my collegues in charge of employee activities! Thanks a bunch and I will see you on my next party! -- Dora A, Raleigh, NC, 8/22/2008
  • Stone Age Romeos performed at our fundraising event and they were fantastic. By the end of the night the dance floor was packed. They managed to get a room full of reluctant teenagers and their parents to have a great time. Thank you! -- Jane C, Raleigh, NC, 2/22/2008
  • We had them play for a private party where we had a big range of ages. Everyone enjoyed the music and danced. The members were very attentive to the crowd that was on the dance floor. We will book them again! -- Monika V, Wake Forest, NC, 11/17/2007
  • Stoneage Romeos did an awesome job at our anniversary party, keeping it fun and lively. Our guests danced all night and kept talking about what a great band we had. All the guys are very talented and they played a wide variety of songs we had selected from their playlist and they also learned three songs for us, including our wedding song. They were very engaging with the guests, and seemed to enjoy the party as much as we did. They were professional and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them and would hire them again. -- Kim L, Raleigh, NC, 5/5/2007
  • Awesome job! We loved it! I hired them for our annual Christmas dance and they definately got the party rocking! Everyone was still dancing up through the very last song. They were easy to work with, very professional, and seemed to enjoy it as much as we did. Hope to have them back sometime! -- Karla J, Hatteras, NC, 12/16/2006
  • These guys really know how to run an event. Our day was perfect, we could not have asked for a better band. Everyone danced all night long. I would recommend them for your event in a heartbeat.
