Since 1994 River City Band has entertained in Clubs, Festivals, Weddings, Anniversaries, Private Parties, Concerts, and Corporate events throughout the Northwest. Playing a wide variety of music from the Fifties to present day hits, RCB GETS YOUR PARTY STARTED! RCB will get you out on the dance floor and will have everyone singing along! We love to interact with and entertain our audience.

River City Band is comprised of five or six members depending on your needs. Bill Larimer (our wedding specialist) is now availible for piano bar style music during dinner or the actual wedding ceremony for an extra fee. Bill styles his music from the 20's,30's,40's to current contemporary songs. ie: light jazz, honky tonk, and standards everything from Herbie Hancock to Frank Sinatra. If you need a show format we will be a six piece band, Bill plays an intergal part in our show. River City will accommodate all of your needs for your wedding. River City now has Six multi-talented professionals who all sing lead. Featured are three, four, five and SIX part harmonies. Band members switch instruments during performances which makes for a lot of variety and fun. River City performs with wireless instruments so we can be in the middle of the dance floor inspiring everyone to join in.

If your event starts with dinner, RCB will lay it back with mellow tunes or if you would like it low key Bill our Piano player will do a dinner set especially for your party. When you are ready to dance, RCB will step into high gear and pack the dance floor!

No matter what your special requirements we have everything needed for your event. We will supply a wireless microphone which you are welcome to use for toasts and announcements. RCB has a small or large sound system depending on the size of your party. River City will also supply our own lighting system. You can depend on The River City Band to make your event a success! Our Motto: "If you don't want to have a good time, you'd better stay home"

River City has been featured in the Columbian newspaper and in the national magazine "Making Music"

Feedback

  • We hired River City Band to play at our wedding reception at the Governor Hotel in Portland, and were more than happy with them. They are all a bunch of really friendly and cool guys, and most importantly they are very talented. They more than met our expectations and they played great music, had great vocals, and interacted with everybody dancing. Basically these guys really rocked. They played great songs, and stayed away from all of the cheesy "wedding band" songs. I would reccomend them for any event whether it be a casual party or a formal wedding, these guys will guarantee a good time with great live music. I would definately hire these guys again. -- Jb D, Portland, OR, 5/18/2007
  • Hiring ANYONE off the internet can be handwreching. It was comforting to hear from River City Band frequently up until the time they arrived one site. This foursome really rocked the house! They proved to be very accomodating to the crowd keeping everyone on their feet dancing the night away! Members of our club gave me kudos throughout the night for finding such a great group for our New Year's Eve event. We would DEFINITELY consider River City Band for future events and would not hesitate to recommend them to our friends. They were awesome all around! Thank you Gigmasters for providing such a great service! Mona-Lisa Bremerton Yacht Club Bremerton, WA -- Mona L, Bremerton, WA, 12/31/2006
  • River City Band performed at our private event for approximately 100 people. All comments I heard from guests were extremely positive. The band contacted me several times prior to the engagement to make certain all bases were covered. They were on time, they were professional and, individually, quite pleasant. The band was more than willing to be accommodating for the space used, noise level, types of songs played - and they knew all requests. They were a joy to work with. I would recommend this group to anyone. They are not only talented, they also added a very fun dimension to our party. -- Barbara M, Portland, OR, 6/10/2006
