Description

Hal is a solo musical entertainer with a very ecclectic selection of rock, pop and soul, California rock, country and some great original songs. He currently performs island-style Rock n' Reggae, Jimmy Buffett and Carribean style music, with guitar (acoustic and electric), keyboards, background tracks, harmonica and vocal harmonizer for background vocals for a full and energetic sound. He has a tremendous ability to read an audience and his personality plays as much a part of the overall package as the music.

  • Hal was AWESOME for my wedding.Unsure about hiring a musician online, Hal exceeded all expectations.Worked with us for months prior to the wedding and understood our goal-a laid-back, beach wedding with fun music.Hired only for the reception, Hal and I worked out a special arrangement for him to play acoustic versions of our ceremony songs-Hawaiian version Somewhere Over the Rainbow and I'm Yours by Jason Mraz.Everyone asked where we found him!Hal was able to read our 80 guest crowd, keeping things classy and original.Hal was professional and provided details of his contracted services prior to the event. He arrived on time, prepared to perform. -- Linda J, Fenwick Island, DE, 9/19/2009
  • Fantastic, he was everything my daughter and son-in-law were hoping for at their reception and everyone was complimenting my husband and I, for the enjoyment of the music, he kept them dancing and on their feet, and then at other times, just singing along or swaying with the music !!!! We'd hire him again, Janet Lee & Dean Rainier -- Janet Lee R, Ocean City, NJ, 9/12/2009

  • Hal was the icing on the cake at my 50th birthday party! My guests had such a good time listening to his music, he was the highlight of the party. As a professional party planner I can honestly say that I would highly recommend him to any of my clients having a tropical- carribean themed party. The atmosphere he creates really makes you feel like you are on a tropical island in paradise! Sincerely, Cheryl Ann Floral Design www.Cherylann.biz -- Cheryl M, Conshohocken, PA, 9/13/2008

  • Hal was great. He was punctual and professional, and his music was fantastic. He was a great fit for a Caribbean celebration, and his choice of music was perfect. He even came back early from a set break to sing Happy Birthday to the guest of honor, not hesitating a moment. By the end of the night, everyone was singing along with Hal and dancing. I would definitely recomend Hal and Gigmasters for making party planning easy and fun. -- Matt M, Norristown, PA, 2/23/2008
  • At first I was a little hesitant about hiring a performer for my party over the internet but now I am very glad that I did. After the initial booking, I contacted Hal several times prior to the party and I was able to talk to him every time. I discussed with him what I wanted for the party and he did that and more. He was very professional, arrived on time, played everything we wanted to hear and was a great entertainer. My guests ranged in age from 30's to 70's and Hal played something for everyone. I would definitely recommend him and will use him in the future. -- Melanie R, Philadelphia, PA, 11/10/2007
  • OMG Hal was unbelievable and I would recommend him in a minute. My husband and I threw my daughter Lauren a college graduation pool party on Labor Day weekend and we wanted the theme to have a very laid back feel to it yet still have that great party atmosphere as well. Hal sure came through. He played an outstanding mix of Reggae, Caribbean and Jimmy Buffett music, he sounds awsome. My daughter was extremely happy. • Hal will be coming back. Our customers (and staff) LOVED him! We would like to set up a regular gig with him. I was a little worried when I looked at the song list, how one person could pull off so much variety - but he did it, and then some. He performed his own variations of some classics and gave them a Reggae twist, and they were everyone's favorites. I was looking for strictly a "Reggae" player, but got SO much more, and glad I did. -- J.k. A, Princeton, ME, 8/12/2006
  • Hal was great, now over a month later I still have people asking me who he was and how they could contact him if they ever needed to. My event was a surprise anniversary party for my grandparents, aside from them being surprised they loved Hal. That is the only thing my grandfather keeps talking about. "Wow, that music was great, it was really a good idea" he says. Thank You Hal!! -- Stacy C, Pennsville, NJ, 2/17/2008
  • We were very happy with Hal and would highly recommend him to anyone. It ended up being a beautiful day so he sang on our back deck. • Hal was great! The party was so entertaining thanks to him. All my guests loved him and his music. He was definitely the hit of the party and what everyone talked about. Thanks Hal for making my daughter's day so special. -- Nicole S, Medford, NJ, 4/5/2008
