The Buddy Ivory Band has been inspired by many great musical styles over the years, encompassing the best in rock, country, funk, rhythm and blues,soul,standards,and all the good stuff in between. Featuring a solid ensemble of seasoned players, they provide the listener with that "get off your seat beat" with a dash of old school rock and rhythm and blues. They also have a new CD titled "Rough Cut" which is now available. The Buddy Ivory Band's music is an entertaining, multi-genre mix representing many aural textures that will make you want to get up and dance. Beginning with the foundation of Steve (The Hitman) on drums, powerful bass lines by Ian, charismatic chops by Dan on the keyboards, and Buddy and Brian Ivory's lead guitar, the band keeps the audience guessing what musical tricks they have up their collective sleeves. In addition, all five members sing lead and backup adding to the versatility and balance of the group.
