TRY plays "the soundtrack of your life"… songs that at once make you want to party and dance... but also trigger memories and engage you to join in and have fun along with us. TRY enjoys faithfully reproducing dancable Rock hits from the 70's, 80's, 90's, up to present day. (take a listen to some of our Live samples)

TRY started as a side project that was designed to be different from our regular band "The Boinkers". (Who have been entertaining thousands of Northwest fans in clubs and casinos for well over two decades!) TRY has since evolved into something very cool… and has begun to grow wings of its own.

We wanted TRY to be easy to set up and play in just about any venue, and yet give a "full production" audio and visual experience with excellent sound and stage lighting. The music we play is classic, whether it be new or retro.

Being a trio, it challenged us as how to reproduce this "soundtrack" authentically. This brings us to the "peek behind the curtain", as it were...
Using today's technology (that many others use, but rarely admit to) we have rounded out the music by playing all of the parts ourselves. It's just that some of the parts we've done in our studio. But every note you hear live is (or was) performed by one of us.

Some major advantages of this approach are; it allows us to keep a cap on overall volume in smaller situations while retaining that full sound, and many parts of our show can be automated (effects, lighting, mixing... etc) so that we can focus our attention on the music, and having fun with you, while making a full-experience show happen right before your eyes!
