RendevouX Dance Band from Tulsa, OK

The essence of RendevouX is grounded in the roots of the Tulsa Sound era from the 1960's. Tracy Carter's guitar work with The Executives and Gary and the Guys (Gary Busey) continues to highlight the instrumentation of RendevouX. Dale Watts' Hammond B3 organ and keyboard sounds from his days with The Granadas resonates even better than ever within the musical complexities of RendevouX. And, Steve Berry's drumming foundations with Steamer's Trunk, James Mobley & the Bo Jives, as well as Johnny Fisher & The Grand Jury is as solid as ever for the steady rhythmic beat of RendevouX. Les Thomas provides an impeccable bass guitar foundation for the group. The best part, though, is hearing the incredible voice of Russ Angell who provides most of the lead vocals for this group. And, to cap it off, all members of the group supply vocal harmonies that can turn heads. The genre of music is primarily good old rock & roll from the late 50's, the 60's, and the early 70's with some blues, ballads, southern rock, and country & western scattered among the set sheets.
