DESCRIPTION:
Since 1999, the pulsating rhythms of reggae have been heard along the Jersey shores. Songs by Bob Marley , Peter Tosh, Dennis Brown, Israel Vibration, Morgan Heritage, Steel Pulse and many more artist as well as the original sounds of Random Test. The members of the band are both from the States and the Caribbean, coming together by a common appreciation for Caribbean music.
Random Test is rooted in Central Jersey, playing regularly at Echo in Red Bank . The band performs around the Tri-State area at well-known establishments such as, The Stone Pony, Morristown Festival, Pier Village, The Saint, Trade Winds, Wind-N-Sea, Fast Lane, Joey Harrison's Surf Club, Jenkinson's and Martell's in Bayville just to name a few.
The band has opened up for some of the greatest reggae acts around, such as, The Wailers, Burning Spear, Culture, Wailing Souls, and Kymani Marley. The name and the philosophy of the band expresses the belief that life presents each of us with a random test. And each one of those tests makes one stronger and more confident through the journey of life.
