The Sanghatones are a Brooklyn based "sangha" (community) of singers and musicians who share a love of Lovers Rock, Rocksteady, Reggae, Dub, Ska, Funk, R&B, Jazz - our own original tunes - and, well, a variety of music! We hope to share our passion for music and get you tapping your toes and swaying your hips! Everyone in the band has a long and impressive background and brings great diversity to the group. Many have toured with big artists and continue to collaborate with the biggest names in music today. We can tailor our group to fit your needs and range from a few musicians for instrumentals, to the full band for parties and everything in between!

The Shangatones were perfect for my One Day Vacation Get Away Party! My guest as well as my husband and myself had a wonderful time! I am already getting phone called to book them again for another party as well as I have given the Gig Master website out to a few friends that asked me where I got this band from!
