Firedog is a Boulder-based band with over 150 years of combined experience, and it shows. Outrageously entertaining. Irresistibly danceable. Fun & professional. Ideal for private parties, social events, weddings, corporate events & festivals. Serving the Colorado Front Range and mountain communities. We have been delighting Colorado audiences and dancers for years with our unique blend of driving blues, funky R&B, solid Rock and soulful jazz. Composed of long-time professional musicians and music teachers from the area, we have an interactive act, involving the audience in our music and performance. From choosing someone in the crowd to be the subject of an explanation of Mustang Sally or Louie Louie, to getting them up on stage dancing and singing with us, the audience is made to feel a part of the act, not separate from it. And what other band starts a classic blues song with a Bach fugue introduction? In addition to our main dance sets, we can also provide dinner and cocktail music, focusing on classic jazz favorites.
