The David Smith Marionettes productions bring a contemporary flovor to the traditional string puppetry. Performing in full view of the audience. our puppeteers bring to life a host of characters and creatures in colorful, professional productions.
Our music-filled puppet cabaret programs are enjoyed by young and old and are ideal for community, corporate and family events.
Our more elaborate story shows are designed for events in schools, theaters and are based on well known tales with a difference - Little Red Riding Hood, Alladin, and Jack and the Beanstalk
We have had the opportunity to add a special flavor to live orchestral concerts interpreting contemporary and traditional repertoire. Some highlights in our career
have included puppet opera, appearances on music videos popular music groups and appearances at international puppets festivals in Canada and abroad..
