"Billy and Robin" is a guitar-singer duo that has been performing together for four years. We offer a mix of music styles but specialize in songs drawn from "the great American songbook", specifically the music of George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern, Harold Arlen, Irving Berlin, Johnny Mercer, Duke Ellington, Richard Rodgers and many more great songwriters from the jazz age and early Broadway show era.
In addition, we have in our repertoire many popular songs in the blues, country, soul and rock style, selected and performed for their danceability as well as recognizability. Swing, rock and country dancing often spontaneously erupt at our gigs. We can entertain from a stage or stroll through a gathering, delivering more intimate serenading to tables or gatherings. Our uplifting and energetic shows have always been a welcome addition to weddings and parties and the romantic music of the great songwriters will warm the hearts of people of all ages.
