Description

I APOLOGIZE FOR THE VIDEO! I am a musician not a videographer. I shot it with a Bloggie which turns everything yellow indoors. Turned lights off open shades and tried to take it in one shot. At the end I should have said, "I ORCHESTRATED IT ON THE SYNTH, BUT WROTE THE SONG ON THE GUITAR".

NEW VIDEO COMING SOON

I play the guitar and sing what I call mainly Pop Country.

For Weddings, I also play The "Traditional" Wedding March, "Here Comes the Bride" on the Synthesizer with a Church Pipe Organ sound. This I have found to be very Popular with Brides. The BridesMaids and GroomsMen arrive first at the altar as I play "Jesu Joy Of Man's Desire" on the Guitar - THEN - I switch to "Here Comes the Bride" on the synth.

Often, people ask me what I mean by Pop Country. I say, "When Willie Nelson did 'Whiskey River' it did well on the Country Chart. When Willie did 'On The Road Again' it not only went up the Country Chart but did a crossover to the Pop Chart". I don't sing 'Whiskey River' but I do sing 'On the Road Again'." Conway Twitty did "Boom Boom Boom Boom". It did okay on the Country Chart but not on the Pop Chart. After "It's Only Make Believe" went both Country and Pop, Conway Twitty claimed he bought a mansion off the proceeds from It's Only Make Believe", alone. I do "It's Only Make Believe". I also do Originals in a Pop Country vein, and sing in John Denver's key on songs such as "Sunshine", "Country Roads", "Annie's Song" and "Rocky Mountain High". I also can hit Conway Twitty's high notes in "It's Only Make Believe". My guitar playing is excellent. I wear a Country Gentleman's outfit with cowboy or similar type hat. Will wear a baseball hat to perform if asked, and will rent a tux if required. (Additional Cost)
WEDDING CEREMONY: As I mentioned, I play the synth, and do mood music on both the guitar and synth before the Bride walks down the aisle. When she does appear to make her grand entrance down the aisle I can play the traditional "Here Comes the Bride", or "Jesu Joy of Man's Desire" on the Guitar When the ceremony is over and you are introduced as man and wife I play a victorious grand uplifting original tune called "The Princess" as you both gloriously leave for the reception and as family and friends leave the venue. Then, at the reception, I play the tunes with my guitar listed under SONGS. While being fairly new to Austin and Gigmasters, I have a long history playing in bands and as a solo artist in Los Angeles. Please look at and listen to some of my songs from the song list. My live performance is electric in more ways than one. You will be happy you hired me. Rusty
