Kevin Roland Jazz Pianist from Charlotte, NC

Currently serving Charlotte, NC and the East Coast, Kevin has been performing all over the US for nearly 25 years. Kevin has accompanied such entertainers as Jhn Legend, Adele, Luther Vandross, Reba McIntyre, and Andrea Bocelli. He has performed as a soloist with a variety of orchestras including the Tampa Bay Symphony Orchestra, Silicon Valley Symphony, Fresno Symphony, and the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra to name a few. Kevin has lived in musical cities across the country such as New York City, New Orleans, Washington, DC, and most recently San Francisco before moving to Charlotte in 2021. Kevin's primary background is as a pianist, Music Director, and conductor for Broadway musicals. He has accompanied such Broadway stars as Audra McDonald, Alice Ripley, Betty Buckley, Liz Callaway Kristen Chenoweth, Idina Menzel, Sutton Foster, Judy Kuhn and Laura Benanti among many others. While living in DC, Kevin was also the house pianist at the infamous Willard Intercontinental Hotel and was also one of the regular performers at the White House, the Vice-Presidential Mansion, the White House Correspondents Dinner, the Metropolitan Club, and The Georgetown Club. Kevin was the musical director at Mimi's American Bistro for 10 years, DC's only cabaret restaurant that featured nightly live professional singing servers. Kevin has also played for numerous Broadway National tours including Wicked, Book of Mormon, Annie, Something Rotten, The Addam's Family, Hamilton, as well as over 20 other shows. As a cocktail pianist, Kevin has played for hundreds of weddings, parties, business functions, fund-raisers, and other social gatherings around the US. Some of the people Kevin has played for and entertained in the DC area alone include former Presidents Bush, GHW Bush, Clinton, Obama, Vice-President Cheney, VA Governor & Senator Mark Warner, David Bradley, Chris Matthews, Tom Brokaw, Steven Spielberg, Tony Kushner, Goldie Hawn, Bernadette Peters, Elaine Paige, John Legend, Adele, and Brian McKnight to name a few. No performance is too small or large. I often play in-home private concerts or dinners for couples on their anniversary or other special occasions for larger groups. If you do not have a piano, I can arrange for one (if the space allows and at an additional cost) or bring an electronic piano and sound system.
