Houston's Own Pianoman Scott Graham is a local Houstonian, pianist and composer with over 20 years experience in the music industry. He has played in over 7500 weddings, cocktail events, private marriage proposals, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, house parties, receptions and more at some of Houston's most renowned venues and homes. Classically trained with a Bachelor of Arts in the Theory of Music Composition and a minor in Piano and French Horn, his repertoire embraces the sounds of yesterday and today. Scott has mastered a variety of styles including pop, top 40, jazz, standards, easy listening and new-age classical piano arrangements of some of the best classics of all time. His music library includes pieces from the 1920's through some of the most popular, hit songs available today…everything from Cole Porter to Cold Play. To make your event a memorable one, here are some of the services I provide: Ceremony - To welcome and entertain your guests and set the mood for the occasion, I begin playing 30 minutes prior to the ceremony, as people are being seated. I then play for the ceremonial entrances of the family, bridal party, groomsmen, flower girl and/or ring bearers, and the bride. I also play a song during the unity-candle lighting, memory candle, or sand ceremony, etc. Then for the recessional, as the wedding party exit and the guests leave the venue. Cocktail Hours, Receptions, Birthday Parties, Holiday Parties & Rehearsal Dinners – People often prefer live piano music for a more elegant atmosphere while dining, or simply to provide a nice ambiance for you and your guests to enjoy the cocktail hour and reception. I play a variety of music - standards to today's music - anything from Cole Porter to Cold Play, and I am always updating my extensive music library. I can provide hours of piano music entertainment for you and your guests and have played in over 7500 weddings, cocktail hours, and receptions. Scott also produced his own piano solo CD entitled "GEMINI," including 13 of his original compositions. Many of Scott's compositions have been used commercially in short films, advertisements, storefronts, wedding venue promos, and for numerous weddings.
