Robert Finley

Robert Finley is a classical pianist who has delighted audiences with his singing tone, musicianship and wide repertoire. He has been playing the piano since the age of seven and won a scholarship to Trinity College of Music in London. He studied with some of the world's finest concert pianists in Europe and the USA. In 1976 he was awarded the ARCM Diploma with Honors from the Royal College of Music in London.

Mr. Finley has given recitals in the UK, USA, France, Germany, Israel, Poland, and Argentina, and played piano concertos with symphony orchestras in the UK. In Boston he has played at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Seully Hall Boston Conservatory, Sander's Theatre and in the Pickman Hall at the Longy School. He won numerous prizes at international piano competitions. He has played at weddings, receptions, corporate functions, memorials and house parties.

In addition to classical music, Mr. Finley plays Ragtime by Scott Joplin, music from Broadway, musicals, patriotic songs from the UK, Scotland, Ireland and the USA for sing-alongs. He will be glad to work with you to choose music that will make your wedding or other function a very memorable and enjoyable occasion.

In addition to solo piano music, he plays with an excellent flutist, cellist and violinist. He can arrange piano and flute, violin or cello duos, or a piano trio.
