Kevin Scott

Kevin Scott (Christensen) is a career entertainer who has performed singing and playing piano for a wide range of clients, from Dueling Rock and Roll Piano Bars to Theater and Cabaret, Corporate Events, Weddings and playing Accordion (German, French, Italian, novelty). Kevin is an expert in the "Great American Songbook" and has studied stories of the songs and songwriters who shaped American culture. One of his best shows involve finding out what year audience members graduated from High School. He knows at least 10 songs from any given year from 1930 on. He also is expert in the Patriotic literature of songs from WWII. Additionally, he plays Steel Pan Drums and is (perhaps) the only Steel Pan drummer in Utah. His happy clients include Ballet West, Pioneer Theater, The Marriott, Embassy Suites, Stein Erickson Lodge, the Goldener Hirsch and High-West Distillery.

• Outstanding performer. He played for my father in laws funeral and after the service we were complimented by so many people on his wonderful music. His music really made this a memorable funeral so much so that one of the funeral directors from the mortuary commented at the conclusion of the service that the music brought back fond memories of his family. • Kevin is so talented and we were very happy to find him to perform at our wedding. His talent is also very diverse, and he played effortlessly on the piano, ukulele, and steel band drums all night long for over 4 hours. Guests at our wedding complimented how terrific he was and how the music he played really contributed in the fun in our Hawaiian themed wedding. Kevin constantly kept up to date with me before the wedding day on his practices, what kind of music I would like played, and timeframes of the wedding march and first dance, so I'd be prepared; he is very professional and courteous.
