DESCRIPTION:
I offer three different types of piano entertainment:Open Mic: Guests sing on microphone to the accompaniment of the piano; in some ways, this type of piano bar is like karaoke, except that the music is live and dynamic. Like karaoke, the songs I perform cover a wide, eclectic range ("show tunes", "standards" from the 1920's forward, jazz, country, R&B, rock'n'roll, blues, folk, soul, disco, hip-hop, etc.). Your guests can be called to the microphone or volunteer to sing alone or together. Sing-Along: Your guests surround the piano to sing as a group, usually without any microphones, while I play. This is very popular, especially during the holidays as most people know the words to popular Christmas songs. Instrumental Only: I play instrumental piano of various songs such as from the 50's, 60's, and 70's, with plenty of show tunes and standards, too or play music to match the theme of your party. I am versatile in all musical styles. I play an appealing mix of songs for the different age groups of your guests: well known Classical music, Jazz, Standards, and Contemporary music. Whether it's, for example, Frank Sinatra, George Strait, Janis Joplin, The Beatles, Elton John, Billy Joel or John Mayer, I can play you and your guests' favorites. I play at weddings, wedding receptions, background piano for private parties and dinners, corporate events and more. I am also available to play at your wedding at Barona. They have a Roland piano in their chapel and I can provide piano music for your guests as they are waiting for the wedding to start.
