Fred Yacono brings elegance, class and the very best in beautiful piano music to any event! You and your guests will truly enjoy his masterful arrangements and improvisational talents. Fred's dazzling repertoire of more than 1,000 songs draws from all decades and is enriched by his warm style of brilliant melodies, cascading harmonies, and pulsating rhythms.
Your wedding is one of the most memorable events of your lifetime. Fred will delight you and your guests in all of the phases of your wedding celebration–your rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, and also the reception. He provides a complimentary planning session for the bride and groom and also consults with them prior to the wedding to make sure that every detail of their music is perfect!
Fred is an accomplished song stylist and has spent his entire career as a performer, composer/songwriter, conductor, music educator, and band director. Classically trained in New York where he also prepared students for the Julliard School of Music, he plays a wide variety of music in every genre, including pop, blues, Latin, Broadway and movie themes, jazz, ethnic, classical and so much more. If you can whistle it, he will play it!
In addition to his solo piano performances as an event and wedding pianist, Fred can also provide additional performers and instruments upon request, such as violin, harp, cello, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone and drums.
If a piano is not available, Fred will supply your event with one of his state of the art digital pianos and sound equipment. He also has a silent portable generator if an electricity source is an issue.
Fred is a graduate of New York University where he majored in piano performance and music education, and studied composition under the direction of Aaron Copland. He pursued his graduate studies at The Hartt College of Music of the University of Hartford, Duquesne University, and the University of North Carolina.

"Fred was all we wanted in a pianist for our rehearsal dinner. Numerous guest complimented us on our selection of Fred and on his accomplishment as a pianist. Fred was very accomodating and performed exactly as we had hoped. Fred only took one very short break during the entire performance. Fred exceeded our expectations on the talent level but the rating system only goes to 5. "
