Description

Enhance your upcoming party or special occasion with piano music from Fred Yacono. Fred will add "pizzazz" to your event and make it an occasion to remember!

Originally from New York and more recently based in Eagan, Minnesota, Fred brings ambiance and life to any event. He is often featured as piano soloist at country clubs, weddings, anniversaries, bar mitzvahs, corporate events, graduations, fashion shows, holiday parties, private parties, and memorials throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding areas.

Fred is an accomplished song stylist and has spent his entire career as a music educator, composer, performer and conductor. Although he is classically trained, he plays a wide variety of music, including, pop, blues, Latin, Broadway and movie themes, jazz, ethnic, classical/light classical and so much more.

In addition to his solo piano performances as an event and wedding pianist, Fred can also provide additional instruments upon request, such as violin, harp, cello, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone and drums.

If you don't have a piano, Fred will supply your event with one of his state of the art digital pianos and sound equipment. He also has a silent portable generator if an electricity source is an issue.

Fred is equally at home in both popular and classical arenas. His style is warm, improvisational, and enriching, with brilliant melodies, cascading harmonies, and pulsating rhythms.

Fred is a graduate of New York University where he majored in piano performance and music education. He pursued his graduate studies at The Hartt College of Music of the University of Hartford, Duquesne University, and the University of North Carolina.

Let Fred turn your special event into a truly unique and memorable occasion. You will not be disappointed!

Feedback

  • Fred was great to work with from the very beginning! He was very professional, flexible, had a delightful manner about him. He made our event extra special and I will absolutely recommend him in the future! -- Kelli P, Woodbury, MN, 12/23/2011
  • I was very satisfied with Mr. Yacano. There was a lot of phone calls between us before the event, and that sometimes got a little overwhelming. however, once the day came he required zero direction and was a self starter. He played the right music at the right times (even though we didn't have a rehearsal) and I didn't notice any errors in his playing. Everyone at the wedding said he was amazing. I also liked that he had 20 or 30 songs ready for us when we came to listen to him play for the first time. We also liked that he let us pick a song of our own, and then he went online and found the sheet music for it. He was very accommodating. -- Chez-Catherine T, Minneapolis, MN, 3/10/2012
