You're excited about what's on the horizon, right? The event of your life... at least so far. You're happy, in love and enthusiastic. You want everyone you hire to know what they're doing, and be as enthusiastic as you are. Hello then. A pleasure to meet you... I went to NYU and got a degree in Computer Science. The funny thing is, I was already a photographer before I graduated. See, I grew up in New Jersey, with Romanian parents who were new American citizens when I was born. Have you been to Romania? Romanians are nutty, passionate people. My family would argue over photographs, especially my mom and my grandparents. Where's the baby's photo album? It's mine… No, it's mine. Doors slammed. Arms crossed. Muttering and pacing. I grew up with a sense that our photographs were our family treasures. They didn't argue over money or decor, or vacations or whatever normal people argue over. Photographs. So in high school I took the first photography class I was offered. And the second, and the third. And the independent study. When I got to NYU, the first photography instructor I had… well, I thought he was stupid. So I dropped photography and double-majored in Computer Science and Studio Art. Covered all my bases in case “the creative thing”—as my mom called it—didn't work out. While I was in college though, I my work-study boss had a baby. Could I photograph the baby in the park one day? Of course. For $50 I photographed little Evan and handed her the roll of film. And that's how I got… um… rollin' Did that for 10 years and then I moved to Colorado and photographed my first wedding. It was the most fun party I've ever gone to. And, when I saw what we'd created in that wedding album, the family treasure thing really hit me. So for the last 6 years, I've been photographing weddings and portraits. It's the most wonderfully challenging and rewarding work I can imagine.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on October 4, 2014From Steamboat Springs, CO

Christina photographed our Steamboat Mountain wedding this past September and did a fabulous job! She was very professional and easy to work with. She put us at ease right away, asked what we wanted from our pictures, and delivered a stunning gallery of photos to choose from. She has a great artistic eye (which was helpful for this "boring" accountant and engineer couple. :) ) We can't recommend her enough!!
