About Vendor

Learn more about this vendor for your event.

Christopher Reed is the perfect compliment to any occasion requiring musical entertainment. Whatever your needs are, they're covered. Music for dining - covered. Cocktail music - covered. Soft Rock to warm up the party - covered. Serious Dance music to let the good times roll - covered. MC duties - covered. His song list is jaw dropping: over 400 songs featuring the best of the best music from the 50's to the present, whether it's Country, Rock, Blues, Pop, Easy Listening, Dance, Folk or out and out floor show. In fact you're welcome to go through his song list (available on this site) and pick the material you would like to have at your event. Chris will also learn new songs particular to your event. Although Chris has pre-recorded tracks available, he isn't limited to them so when the party gets rolling the dancing doesn't have to stop after 3 1/2 minutes - like all true bands he can go with the flow. Regardless of the style, Chris' vocals are authentic and dynamic. He's the real deal. If you want a band but you're limited in space or finances or have volume concerns, you really should consider Christopher Reed. Christopher Reed IS a band, not a novelty act or a glorified DJ who plays along with pre-recorded tracks. His set up includes midi guitar (guitar synthesizer), bass pedals and electronic drums (drum machine), along with blues harp (harmonica) and adds vocal harmonies with a vocal harmonizer. If you're looking for one guy, then look no further. Why settle for one guy/one voice/one instrument when you can have Christopher Reed, who is the equivalent of a four piece band? Also available packages include acoustic guitar/vocal with electronic drums, a fifties show with electric guitar and drums, an Elvis tribute show with guitar and drums, and background music on 12 string guitar. Whatever the event or package you can rest assured that you're dealing with a consummate professional who has been doing this for a long time and very successfully. Enhance your event with Christopher Reed. You'll be glad you did! Questions about hiring one guy? Let me refer you to a review of him: From the editor of “Noise In the Hood”, a Los Angeles entertainment magazine: “I know what you're thinking. I hate one man bands too, but not this one. I loved this guy. I loved him because he's really talented and he can pull this off. This guy has command of all his instruments, he's a really good vocalist and his versatility is fabulous. “Who is this guy?”, you say. Christopher Reed is who he is. It's a real treat to see Chris play the guitar and harp (mouth harp). He's got electronic drums, bass pedals, and a guitar synthesizer, but (as he says in his bio) he makes music the old fashioned way. He plays it. And believe me – the guy can play. And his repertoire contains over 400 songs! Check out this versatility: he does songs by Eric Clapton, The Eagles, Bruce Springsteen, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan (this guy does Dylan better than Dylan – a quote from the woman sitting next to me when I saw his act), Lionel Richie, Elvis, The Beatles, The Stones, Neil Diamond, Billy Joel, Neil Young, Willy Nelson, Merle Haggard, Dwight Yokum, David Allen Coe, Hank Jr and almost every artist you ever heard of. Like I said: he's versatile. Real versatile. I've actually never seen a guy this versatile that can execute the songs really well. Add to all this that Chris is a very good songwriter – his stuff is as good as the stuff written by the big guys mentioned above (ask him to play City Lights) and you have one great one man band act. In fact, Christopher Reed is the best one man band act I've seen and, because of all the songs he can play (well), I'd truthfully rather see him than most of the groups I see playing around town.” Couldn't have said it better myself. Call me. Let's talk.
