• We hired Jamx for our daughters wedding ceremony and reception and they were fantastic. They played steel drums during an outside ceremony which was a lovely change from the same old repetitive music that is at every ceremony. At the reception they played through cocktail hour,the meal and through the rest of the night taking only two short breaks. The dance floor was packed all night,I cant remember the last wedding I have seen that everyone danced all night long,young and old. Dex and the band are the best,they truly know how to read a crowd,and everyone loved them. I think this band is truly worth every penny and more. • Dex and the Jam X Band kept the Positive Vibrations coming all night. I don't think I left the dance floor, and was this was the case for everyone, including our 85 year old grandma who had never seen a reggae band. The music bridged all generations and everyone had a blast. The lively music kept people dancing the whole night. I had never seen these guys before I hired them and being a bit of a music snob, I was a little worried.The band makes or breaks the party. They killed it! • The band was absolutely delightful and very professional. They sized up the audience and before long had everyone dancing and having a ball.The 91 year old uncle of the groom danced all night. • JAM X exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The group was courteous, professional, and certainly knew what they were doing as far as musical talent. • The JAMX Band was exceptional from start to finish. From a personality perspective they were exactly what we were looking for, very friendly, professional and accomodating. • I hired this excellent and talented band to play at my mother's retirement party on 10/28/2006. The party was a celebration and this band contributed to its overall success. Dex was easy to work with in planning and was very accommodating to my needs. We requested the band to play music during the cocktail hour in a foyer location separate from the banquet room. • That was the easiest survey to take! All 5's! We had VERY specific needs for our wedding band and they were perfect! We wanted an authentic reggae/Caribbean style band, with steel drums for our beach wedding. We wanted "chill" music during dinner, and fun dance music to follow. • JAMX Band played at my husband's 40th birthday party. Dex was a pleasure to work with in the planning process. Sometimes it took Dex a few days to get back to me from my messages. If you plan to use them, please remember that because they are a band they travel a lot and cannot always get back to you immediately. However, rest assured that they do get back to you and follow through with every request. • The JamxBand really rocks! They recently played at a large 50th birthday party for my husband in Princeton, outdoors in a tent, on probably the rainiest weekend ever. The band arrrived early and were professional and accomodating. The tent was leaky and they even came up with lyrics to help make fun of the rain. We hired them for a corporate networking event - the purpose of which was to mingle and socialize with other guests in the hopes of business development. Our guests are rather reserved and were looking for more of background entertainment so they could network.
