Bagpiper Joseph MacKenzie is gifted musician that has been highly sought after to perform at ceremonies both throughout the United States and internationally for over 20 years. Weddings and Anniversary Celebrations:

Bagpipes have added a distinctive character to weddings for centuries. They may be played before, during, or after the ceremony. As a suggestion, the processional and recessional are both appropriate times for the bagpipes. Being piped into the reception can be a great way to make a "grand entrance" as well. Also, let me say that when I have played as a surprise at weddings it really does add a very special and memorable touch!

Funerals and Memorial Services:

The bagpipes are a beautiful and fitting way to help honor and celebrate the life of a family member or friend. I have a medley of moving Scottish and Irish tunes that are appropriate for any funeral or memorial service. As a suggestion, playing "Amazing Grace" or another selection stationary at the conclusion of the service and then "Going Home" as I march into the distance provides a quite moving and memorable effect.
