Just one word to describe Iliniza…VARIETY… We are multi-instrumentalists and can offer you different musical setups to meet all of your needs. (1) Our 4 piece LATIN BAND covers all the styles we offer such as Bossa Novas, Brazilian, Cuban, Cumbias, Flamenco, Latin Jazz, Salsa, South American (Peruvian, Ecuadorian, Bolivian), Music of the Andes (Pan flute music), and World Music. (2) Our MARIACHI TRIO performs your favorite Boleros, Corridos, Rancheras, Valses and much more always wearing the traditional Mariachi attire and performing the traditional instrumentation. (3) If you seek a smaller setup for background music, our JAZZ/INSTRUMENTAL TRIO can play many of the styles above but in a more intimate setting. (4) Last, our SOUTH AMERICAN MUSIC & DANCE group is the perfect choice for larger events, cultural performances, and concerts.

We have the necessary equipment to meet the needs of any venue, from small amps for soft cocktail parties to full drum set and bass rigs for the larger events, we have it all. We are unique in that we have a large number of instruments to choose from which include Spanish guitar, charango, bandolina, mandolin, bass, violin, pan flute, quena, alto saxophone, flute, other South American indigenous wind instruments, diatonic accordion, drums, cajón, congas, bongos, guiro, and shakers for our guests.

We can mix and match any of our setups to give you even more variety for your event (Ex. Mariachi Trio for cocktail hour and Latin Band for the dinner and dance.) We play all types of events and can travel anywhere in the country. • I can't say how happy my new wife and I are that Iliniza played at our reception! The only regret we have is that we didn't book them to play longer! We only booked Iliniza to play for one hour during dinner, which was fantastice! However, after hearing them play live and after all the comments we got from our guests, one more hour would have been ideal.
