Christopher CJ Jazz Band from Los Angeles, CA

Based in Los Angeles, Christopher CJ specializes in engaging, entertaining and serenading audiences with heartfelt instrumental versions of R&B, pop and jazz songs. His band consists of sax, guitar, keyboard, bass and drums. CJ's first single was a cover of Ed Sheeran's 2016 Song of the Year, "Thinking Out Loud." His version has been played on over 50 radio stations across the U.S. and Europe, and is available on iTunes, Amazon, Pandora and Spotify. His Facebook page - - has over 16,000 followers. CJ was born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota. After high school, he fled the cold winters of the Midwest for the warmth of the South, where he earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in ballet from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. He also studied saxophone there. He danced professionally with Ballet Austin, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and the San Francisco cast of The Phantom of the Opera. He now sets his sights on music. He has performed as an opening act for saxophonists Marion Meadows and Paul Taylor, at Santa Anita Park racetrack in Arcadia, California.
