DESCRIPTION:
The recipient of the Gigmaster's 2007 Rising Star Award for One Man Band, Mr. Langmaack provides a variety of musical services which include solo piano, vocal and keyboards, DJ services, and percussion stylings. His new "Bose" PA system provides sound for all your guests at the correct volume! He has a full band sound for dancing.
Performing the classic standards (Sinatra, Bennett, Martin), classic pop/rock (Elton John and Billy Joel, Eagles), 50's, country, disco and latin, as well as Motown and top 40 dance music, he tailors your evening to your ideas. He can produce a full band sound to cocktail music or music for your ceremony. If requested, he uses recorded music to add variety and appeal to a wide range of interests and can provide a dance coach for various line dances. Having performed in the Tri-state area for over 25 years, Mr. Langmaack has performed with Helen O'Connell, Juilious LaRosa, and The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, and in the top bands and agencies for various affairs, including The Frank Bennett Orch., The Steven Scott Agency, and The Peter Duchin Orchestras. He has a steady gig at a restaurant on Saturdays where you can hear him live, but is available for gigs on those nights as he uses a fill-in when I have a private affair. We auditioned him about two months before the event and told him what type of music we wished played . Our party took place in an elegant setting in Manhattan. We wanted music that was appropriate for the event and the venue. He did not disappoint us. The party was successful, in part, because of the music.

Tom was great!! He absolutely did a wonderful job! We had a smaller size room for a retirement party. I described a little of what type of music I thought the guests would enjoy and Tom took over from there. He has a large repetoire and everyone commented on how terrific he was. His playing was great and many, many guests commented on what a nice touch the music was insead of the usual DJ. He confirmed the date, arrived on time and was willing to stay a little longer than we had originally asked. The piano music really created a great party atmosphere and everyone seemed to hang around until the very last minute we had the room. Thanks Tom!
