DESCRIPTION:
The Summit Stompers is a seven piece band led by Kent Blair of Summit, NJ. The band consists of trumpet, clarinet, banjo, trombone, piano, drums and tuba players from the Summit area. We play at weddings, private parties, street fairs, restaurants, Mardi Gras theme parties, and whatever! We were featured once per month at Jack O'Connor's Steak House in Bridgewater, NJ for several years prior to their closing. You may have heard us at the Summit 'First Night Out' for several years as well as outdoor summer concerts in Berkeley Heights, Morris Plains, Rockaway, Dunellen and others.

CLIENT FEEDBACK:
This is ABSOLUTELY the best jazz band for a party! Their new Orleans music was superb and they were very easy to work with and accommodating to playlist and conditions. They arrived early so as to begin on time and took short breaks. They even added another performer without charge so that the sound would be richer--it was! Everyone thought the band was the best part of the party--and it was a very nice party!
We appreciated being aboe to hear their sample music on gegmasters site before we engaged them.

The guys in the band were wonderful! Everyone really enjoyed the music. They are so talented and accommodating, and what a great sense of humor! They fit right in to the Mardi Gras theme. They led a parade of followers around the pavillion while playing "When the saints come marching in". We had a great time! I've had many positive comments from our employees. They love the Summit Stompers...and so do I. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!
