Dex and two of his band members played for us on the beach for our rehearsal dinner party, the night before our wedding. They absolutely made our party and I would highly recommend them to anyone who asked. In fact, all of our party guests were raving about them so much that it made it close to impossible to top for the wedding night! They were so accomodating and played right on the beach without any electrical power. Then, when it rained later in the evening, they brought the party into our hotel lobby across the street and played for another 2 hours beyond what we had scheduled. All our guests (and us) were singing and dancing and had a great time!

There aren't enough words to describe our experience with JAMX BAND! I have had many parties with entertainment in the past, but never ever did we have the talent of JAMX! We wish we could afford to hire them for the whole summer!! Every person at my party called me the next day to specifically compliment JAMX! Some of my guests were wishing they had any excuse to hire them! If anyone is having any doubts about hiring them, DON'T! I wish I could do it all over again! I hired this excellent and talented band to play at my mother's retirement party on 10/28/2006. The party was a celebration and this band contributed to its overall success. Dex was easy to work with in planning and was very accommodating to my needs. We requested the band to play music during the cocktail hour in a foyer location separate from the banquet room. They were able to easily transition from one location to another with ease and without disruption to our guests. During dinner and for the remainder of the evening, they played a variety of music and our guests were so impressed with their musical talent. Needless to say, my mom's party was a great success. She was happy with the band and all her guests gave compliments on the entertainment they provided. At the end of the evening, many of our family members wondered how I found the band and requested their contact information. I would imagine I will see them again for another family event. That was the easiest survey to take! All 5's! We had VERY specific needs for our wedding band and they were perfect! We wanted an authentic reggae/Caribbean style band, with steel drums for our beach wedding. We wanted "chill" music during dinner, and fun dance music to follow. Not only was the dance floor packed all night, but they kept it going without that "obnoxious DJ" style. The band played great music all night and everyone, including our 80 year old grandmother, loved it! To top it off, they were IPOD capable, so my husband was able to make up play lists of our favorite songs which were played during the few short breaks that the band took. Everyone at JMAX was extremely professional and eager to make our event exactly how we envisioned it. Wow! These guys were great!!! I was a bit worried because I only booked them a few weeks before the party, but as soon as I spoke with Dex over the phone he put my fears to rest. JAMX Band played at my husband's 40th birthday party. Dex was a pleasure to work with in the planning process. Sometimes it took Dex a few days to get back to me from my messages. If you plan to use them, please remember that because they are a band they travel a lot and cannot always get back to you immediately. However, rest assured that they do get back to you and follow through with every request. Skip and the band were extremely professional and on time even though they had an almost 3-hour drive to our event. The music was awesome and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed them. The JamxBand really rocks! They recently played at a large 50th birthday party for my husband in Princeton, outdoors in a tent, on probably the rainiest weekend ever. The band arrrived early and were professional and accomodating. The tent was leaky and they even came up with lyrics to help make fun of the rain. They had everyone dancing and even distant neighbors were showing up to hear them play even given the sheets of rain. Their voices, the sound, and the selection of reggae songs were all amazing! These guys are fabulous musicians and individuals. I can't wait to have another party and invite them as I've received over 50 emails from guests saying how wonderful the band and the party were and really it is all a reflection of the band!

This band was so accomodating and professional. Guests at this event kept telling me how great the band sounded. Dex (the lead vocal) has a wonderful voice and the music was excellent. They were able to successfully play to an audience of all ages. I couldn't be happier with the band selection I made. I thoroughly enjoyed working with JamxBand/Coral Sea Entertainment. We hired them for a corporate networking event - the purpose of which was to mingle and socialize with other guests in the hopes of business development. In advance of our event, JamxBand was responsive and professional. Dex sent a dvd of their performances which helped not only make our decision but also let us know exactly what their performances sounded like. At the event, the music was excellent! Our guests are rather reserved and were looking for more of background entertainment so they could network. JamxBand was very accommodating to this and provided the perfect balance of relaxed yet fun music. That said, were this not a networking corporate event, I would imagine they'd provide great dancing entertainment.

Dex and Coral Sea Entertainment were so unbelievably AWESOME! Wow! They were the best band we had seen in a long, long time and the fact that they were playing at our wedding was unbelievable. Dex and the band are fabulous. The music was perfect and the fire limbo show was amazing! Everyone at the party was impressed and enjoyed every minute of the entertainment. I HIGHLY recommend The JamxBand/Coral Sea Productions for any event! Dex is very easy to work with and can taylor the right entertainment for your function with in your budget. They really made our party great!!!

My mother's 50th birthday party was a success due in part to JamX's wonderful performance. The event was formal, I informed Dex of that and the band dressed to fit in. They played everything we could have asked for including any special requests. Their energy was unbelievable and they kept the room dancing until the very end. JamX Band did a good job of reading the crowd and playing exactly what we wanted to hear. I would definitely hire them again and would recommend them to anyone who wants to make sure that their party is a hit! JamX is definitely worth the time, effort and money. You will not be disappointed!!

All our guests enjoyed the band very much, albeit the decibel level was a bit high for dinner conversation! The band was great when they stuck to reggae favorites, drop the sinatra impression! Great dancing and singing along...a true party spirit!
