The 'Chico Band' has entertained and perfomed at various events for over thirty-one years. Chico has captivated diverse audiences throughout the Los Angeles area. The success of the band can be attributed to its versatility and exceptional talent. Chico is a unique band that has its own style of Latin, Big Band Swing, Oldies, Rock & Roll, R&B, Retro, Country and Pop music. Years of experience make it possible for Chico to masterfully perform music from soft ballads to hard-driving rock. Chico is known for their Latin Salsa such as cha-cha's, merengue, cumbias, Boleros and Tex Mex.Chico consist of seen gifted musicians, Joe Espinosa, Leader, bass guitarist and vocals, Manuel Fernandez, drummer and vocals, Adolfo Martinez, saxaphone, flute and vocals, Danny Diaz, guitar and vocals Gilbert Avila, trumpet, congas and vocals, Bill Keis, Pianist and the acclaimed female vocalist Bertha Oropeza. Chico has released two CD's that have a great selection of songs. Chico has performed at many Summer Concert Series and for many Non-profit organizations, such as The Los Angeles Opera gala, The Oxnard Strawberry Festival, the Tamale Festival and many others. Chico performed the music for the movie 'Luminarias'. 'Chico' is committed to entertain and perform professionally.
