TBGSB is available for private functions as well as public, including Weddings, picnics, homecomings, company parties, benifits, festivals, and many others. Our rates are competitive as well as fair. We cover all decades of great bluegrass music. From the early tunes of the late Bill Monroe, to the ever popular tunes of Ricky Scaggs, as well as Old Crow Medicine Show! We do it all, as we please the audience with our quick wit, funny costumes and general love for the craft. If your interested in hiring us, for your next function, stop here and see our slide show and hear our music. The mp3's, you hear on this site, was recorded live on stage at some of our shows. They are not done with special effects, at a studio. What you hear is what you get, with us. We will play just about anywhere we are wanted, provided that we have enough lead time to prepare. CLIENT FEEDBACK:
I hired this band for my parents 50th anniversary party. They were better than we had imagined. The live entertainment these gentlemen provided was so much more than we expected and well worth the money to bring them from Georgia to Kentucky!! We all appreciated their willingness to travel so far and work so hard. All of the guests raved over the music and the entertainment. If you like good 'ole bluegrass music this is the band for you! I also appreciated the "extras" they gave us too like the pictures and cd's. Thank you gentlemen for making this such a memorable day for my parents. Good luck to you and best wishes.

The band did a fantastic job at our event. They were reliable and professional, but also lots of fun! They were very accommodating and even spoke to our contradance caller ahead of time to make sure they had the songs she would need. Everyone at our festival enjoyed the music (they are quite good). Thanks so much for a job well done! It was a hit!

They were WONDERFUL! Our audience members said they were the best band we've ever had at the festival -- one person thought we had scored the Soggy Bottom Boys from "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?"! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, talented bluegrass band. They have a wide repertoire of songs and great sound.

Jim Miller was very thoughtful and courteous from our first conversation till our last. The gig was for a surprise party for my wife and they were very accomodating to our needs and helped make it a really special occasion. The feeback from our guests was the music was perfect for the occasion and most guests, who are not bluegrass fans, found them enjoyable as they played a variety of bluegrass music. Thanks again for helping make my wife's 60th a memorable occasion. Jay Susman

We were very satisfied with the performance of the Bluegrass Sound Band. They were in constant communications with us prior to the event so there were no suprises. They talored their performamce to our needs and they were thoroughly enjoyed by our group of over 400. Our only regret is that due to our program's time limitations we could enjoy them for a longer period.

The Blue Grass Sound Band was so good. They came for our "Christmas In The Pines" family party, where the theme was old back country. The band bought fake beards especially for the party, so they could look like the Soggy Bottom Boys. They sang old school blue grass. We clogged, danced and sang along all night long. They would pause for some funny jokes and brought the audience into their stories, as if they knew us. Such "friendly folk", they felt like family. We wanted them to stay longer and join our party. Thanks Jim and The Blue Grass Sound Band. Everyone loved you!!
