DESCRIPTION:
In 2005, Jeff Tucker & On the Beach celebrated their tenth consecutive year of performing over 150 shows per year. On the Beach has twice appeared on the Mitch Albom Radio Show, performing live for an ABC Radio network audience of 2.5 million listeners nationwide. An On the Beach performs family-friendly “adult alternative” music that includes a variety of musical dynamics - mixing elements of rock, pop, and country with references to Americana, jazz, and Latin music. Jeff Tucker and company have independently released three full length CD's and one single of music, including "On the Beach Live", recorded Summer 2007. Performing as On the Beach since 1995, the group has experience playing an enormous variety of venues - from community concert and special event shows, to casino and island resort stages, to major music festival and ticketed theater concert appearances. On the Beach can perform shows of all-original music, all-cover music, or a combination of both. The band’s longevity reflects their audience’s appreciation for strong songwriting, harmony, musical craftsmanship, and the ability to appeal to different generations and varied musical tastes. ***On the Beach performs with three, four, or five pieces in order to accomodate a wide variety of venues & budgets.
